Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Prior bookkeeping or accounting clerk experience preferred.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office (Excel/Outlook).
• Strong accuracy and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for trust, operating, and cost accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies in check disbursements and other transactions.
• Communicate professionally with clients and family members about payments.
• Assist with tracking payments, disbursements, and supporting documents.
• Maintain accounting records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Enter and verify financial information in the accounting system.
• Support Controller and department with audits and special projects.
