Qualifications

• Knowledge of trust accounting per legal industry standards and State Bar rules.
• Experience with trust accounting software used in law firms.
• Accounting degree or 2+ years in accounting/finance.
• Ability to review legal documents and extract accounting-related info.
• Work accurately in a fast-paced environment with high precision.
• Collaborate effectively with legal teams and prioritize requests.
• Detail-oriented with strong judgement and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with batch processing and data file types (CSV, Excel, TXT).
• Advanced Excel skills or equivalent software proficiency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process trust transactions accurately per accounting rules.
• Maintain segregation of funds across states' trust funds.
• Track trust transactions from case start to close.
