Job summary

Denton Bible Church in Denton, TX seeks a Legacy Senior Adults Ministry Assistant II to support the Legacy Director and ABF/SBF programs, coordinate events, and handle day-to-day office tasks.

This role involves welcoming members, coordinating volunteers, planning transportation and meals for trips, preparing materials, and maintaining records, with care for senior adults and a heart for service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and Pages.
• Member of Denton Bible Church or willing to align with church doctrine.
• Self-starter who demonstrates initiative.
• Understands and agrees to the doctrinal statement and core distinctives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ministry activities, events, and trips.
• Prepare room setup for Legacy & ABF SBFs on Sunday mornings.
• Serve as initial contact for members and visitors for Legacy class.
• Prepare programs and decorations for events.
• Gather food-related and fellowship items for events.
• Develop publicity and printed materials for events.
• Deliver materials to event locations and manage cleanup afterward.
• Coordinate transportation, meals, lodging, and trip logistics.
• Maintain lists of participants, volunteers, and records.
