Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Mossville, IL is seeking a full-time Electronic Component Project Engineer to join our onsite team. The role focuses on sustainment, obsolescence mitigation, and design control for legacy electronic products, working with cross-functional teams.

You will own technical deliverables, manage component lifecycle, support validation, and coordinate with suppliers and labs to ensure quality and compliance in a Fortune 100 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related) with 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Experience with component obsolescence, sustainment, and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of design control processes and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute legacy sustainment and obsolescence mitigation tasks per approved plans.
• Own technical deliverables for components or design families, with documentation and reviews.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Support validation and testing, including coordination with labs.
• Maintain accurate engineering records and support design control transfers.
