Job summary

Sol design + consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead LEED residential multifamily certification efforts from design through construction, with meticulous documentation and QA across projects located in Cincinnati and Cleveland. The role supports hybrid work (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) and remote opportunities in select regions.

Candidates should have 5+ years in green building certification, LEED experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent; or RESNET or BPI Certification, NAHB Green Verifier or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with green building certification.
• Experience with LEED residential multifamily certifications; other multifamily certifications a plus.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and construction specifications.
• LEED Accredited Professional preferred.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other 3D design software a plus.
• Familiarity with REMRate, Ekotrope or other energy modeling software a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple LEED residential multifamily certification projects with high quality and client satisfaction.
• Analyze and evaluate sustainable strategies during building design.
• Participate in LEED and other green building charrettes with project teams.
• Lead trades training sessions with construction teams.
• Review drawings and documents to ensure sustainable measures are incorporated.
• Perform site inspections to verify green measures during construction; travel 1–2 days per week, ~2 nights per month.
• Compile documentation for green building certification programs.
• Conduct Energy Star envelope and duct leakage tests.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a growing practice.
