Job summary

Sol design + consulting in Cincinnati or Cleveland is seeking a versatile Project Coordinator to support green building certification efforts across LEED and other programs. You will review drawings, gather documentation, perform on-site inspections, and help manage data throughout projects.

Travel may be required one or two days per week and occasional overnight trips. A relevant degree and hands-on experience with design tools are expected, along with strong communication and organizational

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 1–3 years or more of experience in building design, construction or energy rating/consulting.
• Aptitude for interpreting architectural drawings and construction specifications.
• Excellent communication, written and verbal, across levels.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects in multiple green certification programs (LEED, ENERGY STAR, etc.).
• Review drawings and specifications to verify sustainable measures are incorporated.
• Extract data from project drawings for energy model input.
• Collect and organize certification documentation from design/construction teams and clients.
• Conduct construction site inspections and energy performance testing; may travel weekly and monthly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a small, growing business.
