Job Summary

Rutgers University‑Camden’s Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Gender Studies Program is seeking lecturers to teach courses in Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Spring 2027 and/or Summer 2027. Candidates should have effective teaching experience and be able to teach online (Canvas), on campus, and/or at off‑campus locations. Courses include introductory and advanced topics in women’s studies, gender, masculinities, transgender studies, and queer/LGBTQIA+ studies. The role may offer the opportunity to participate in campus programming around gender studies.

Employment Type

Part‑time lecturer positions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high‑quality instruction in assigned courses.
  • Teach courses online via Canvas, on campus, or at off‑campus sites as required.
  • Prepare syllabi, assignments, and assessment tools aligned with program learning outcomes.
  • Engage students with current scholarship and critical conversations in gender studies.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff on teaching and program initiatives, including campus programming related to gender studies.
