Job summary

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position in Career Exploration & Development (ROAR Program) to support the College of Business. This is an evergreen lecturer pool with semester-by-semester appointments as needs arise, across on-campus, online, or hybrid modalities.

The ROAR program guides students through career exploration, planning, professionalism, networking, and mentorship, with courses offered in ROAR Phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business administration, counseling, psychology, student affairs or closely related field with at least three years of professional experience.
• Alternatively, a master's degree in the same fields with at least one year of professional experience is required.
• A terminal degree is preferred. Prior teaching experience is favored.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students both in-person and online courses.
• Maintains, develops and schedules student learning experiences to achieve learning outcomes.
• Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assess student progress towards course objectives.
• Be familiar with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
• Other duties as assigned by the College of Business.
