Lecturer, Assistant
The Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering seeks afull-time Academic Lecturer to support undergraduate and graduateeducation in petroleum, energy, and related engineeringdisciplines. The successful candidate will contribute primarilythrough teaching, student mentoring, curriculum development, andservice activities that support the department's educationalmission.

Minimum experience requirements are evaluated on a full-timeequivalent (FTE) basis. Relevant part-time experience will beprorated based on hours worked. For example, two years working anaverage of 20 hours per week is equivalent to approximately oneyear of full-time experience.
Applicants must include the average hours worked per week for allcurrent and previous positions. Failure to provide this informationmay affect the evaluation of qualifications.
- Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Industry experience in upstream, midstream, energy transition, geothermal, CCUS, hydrogen, drilling, production, reservoirengineering, or related fields.
- Previous university-level teaching experience.
- Experience with online course delivery.
- Experience supervising student projects and capstone designteams.
