On-campus position with a multi-year appointment subject to performance and funding; teaching load is 15 credit hours per academic year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or industry experience relevant to energy and petroleum engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Energy and Petroleum Engineering.
• Deliver instruction in classroom, laboratory, hybrid, and online formats.
• Develop and update course materials to align with industry needs and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in ABET assessment and accreditation activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program enhancements.
• Support senior design projects and experiential learning activities.
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to maintain curriculum relevance.
• Assist with student recruitment, retention, and outreach efforts.
