Job summary

KKR’s Global Benefits team is seeking a Leaves and Benefits Specialist to manage the leaves process and assist with employee benefits operations for the Americas. Based in Boston, Hartford or Des Moines, the role supports employees in the U.S., Bermuda, and Canada and focuses on day‑to‑day leave operations, vendor service delivery, and benefits programs.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a dynamic, matrixed, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive medical and financial information.
• At least three years of U.S. employee benefits and wellness experience.
• HIPAA training to be completed after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist leaves of absence and disability/accommodations per laws and firm policies.
• Partner with key leaves stakeholders to deliver a streamlined leaves experience.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries across programs.
• Help manage day-to-day benefits operations and HRIS content.
• Support benefits administration across the Americas, including Open Enrollment cycles.
• Assist in creating communications to drive awareness of benefits and wellness programs.
• Enhance the Benefits governance framework and drive operational efficiencies.
• Assist with benefits integration and due diligence during mergers/acquisitions in the Americas.
• Maintain knowledge of benefits programs across the U.S., Bermuda, and Canada.
