Position Overview

Candidates should have experience working in a special education classroom, or with in‑class resource support and behavior modification experience. Candidates should desire to work cooperatively with academic teachers within a team concept.

Qualifications Required

• NJ Teacher of the Handicapped OR Teacher of Students with Disabilities and the appropriate teaching endorsement certification required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities.
• Teaching experience with special needs students preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary Range

• Bachelor's Degree: $70,000 - 100,315
• Master's Degree: $77,450 - 109,865
• Master's + 30 Credits: $81,565 - 115,450
• Doctorate: $84,565 - 118,450
