Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Leave Management Analyst to support administration, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement of our leave and absence programs. You will act as the primary resource for data analysis, auditing, and process administration to ensure accurate and confidential leave information.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field with HR experience, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of FMLA/ADA/USERRA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; HR preferred.
• 1–3 years of HR experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, data validation, reconciliation, dashboards, and trend analysis.
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certifications desired.
• Experience in a multi-state or complex leave environment desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA and local leave laws desirable.

Responsibilities

The Leave Management Analyst supports the administration, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement of the organization’s leave and absence management programs. This role serves as the primary resource for leave-related data analysis, reporting, auditing, and process administration, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of leave information. Critical for Success is the ability to produce highly accurate work in a timely manner, maintain strong attention to detail, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

What it takes:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, preference to HR, 1-3 years of HR experience
• Strong communication skills. Must present a professional, positive image at all times
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP, Advanced formulas and functions, Data validation techniques, Data reconciliation, Dashboard and report creation, Trend and variance analysis
• PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification (desired)
• Experience in a multi-state or complex leave environment (desired)
• Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state and local leave laws (desired)
