Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Leave and Disability Examiner in the United States to manage short-term disability, state disability, and concurrent leave claims. You will review information, determine eligibility, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations while guiding employees and employers through the claims process.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and 2+ years in office administration or customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in office administration or customer service.
• Familiarity with leave, benefits, or disability claim management preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage short-term disability, state disability, and leave claims.
• Determine eligibility and benefits by analyzing medical, employment, and policy information.
• Coordinate claim and leave decisions, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to employees, employers, and stakeholders.
