Job summary

National Veterinary Associates in the United States is seeking a temporary Leave Administrator for a ~3 month assignment. You will coordinate employee leaves of absence and accommodations, ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and state laws, and deliver a positive employee experience.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Leave & Disability, you will manage a caseload, maintain accurate records in the case management system, and communicate timelines to employees and managers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in leave administration or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
• Strong case management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee leaves of absence and accommodations; be the primary contact for inquiries.
• Manage caseloads with timely follow-ups and updates in the case management system.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and state leave regulations; maintain records.
• Provide updates to managers and HR teams on leave status and next steps.
