Job summary

Carter-Haston in Richardson, TX is seeking a Full-Time Leasing Associate to handle day-to-day leasing operations, conduct tours, prepare leases, and deliver outstanding customer service to residents and prospects.

You will develop marketing strategies, maintain resident files, process applications, and help ensure satisfaction and occupancy through proactive outreach and responsive service.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of Property Management Leasing or related customer service/sales experience.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays if applicable
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Complete day-to-day transactions and tasks related to leasing operations and assist with resident relations in line with policies and Fair Housing Laws.
• Conduct community and apartment tours that result in new leases by highlighting features and surroundings.
• Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies for the community, including outreach plans and online presence.
• Maintain organization of resident files; process applications, screenings, and lease renewals.
• Follow up with prospective residents via phone and email to finalize decisions and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents, prospects, vendors and other community members.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by following industry standards and company policies.
• Stay informed on market trends by checking local rental rates, concessions, and specials.
