Job summary

The Franklin Group in Ellenton, FL is seeking a Leasing Consultant to show and lease apartments and support the community's marketing plan. You will help applicants complete rental applications and maintain a welcoming, well-presented model and target apartments.

The ideal candidate has LIHTC experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service and sales skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with LIHTC.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate with customers.
• Fair Housing certifications must be completed within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Shows and leases apartments to prospective residents and supports community's marketing plan.
• Assists applicants in completing rental applications and collects security deposits.
• Maintains model and target apartments and ensures office remains clean and orderly.
• Maintains knowledge of lease terms, policies, and required sales techniques.
• Develops resident retention programs under the Community Manager.
