Job summary

The Franklin Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Orlando, FL. This role focuses on showing apartments, leasing to prospective residents, and supporting the community's marketing plan. It requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fair Housing must be completed within 1 day of hire.
• Preventing Sexual Harassment, Workplace Harassment and Drug Free Workplace courses must be completed within 7 days of hire.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Resident Apartment Manager (RAM) designations are recommended; Fair Housing Certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists applicants with rental applications and collects security deposits.
• Ensures model and target apartments are ready for show and maintains a clean, orderly workspace.
• Familiar with lease terms, policies, and required sales techniques.
• Maintains contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for informational materials.
• Develops and maintains an on-going resident retention program under supervision.
• Maintains resident and community files and conducts market surveys monthly.
