Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Leasing Specialist in the Fort Lauderdale area to provide leasing services for a multi-family community. You will meet lease-up goals, manage applications, and coordinate with management to optimize occupancy and rent levels.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and proficiency in Yardi and MS Office, with a willingness to work a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business or related field required.
• Real Estate experience a plus.
• Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Applications.
• Yardi experience required.
• Action and results-oriented, enthusiastic.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence.

• Ability to meet stringent deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greets all prospective residents and shows apartments.
• Handles all leasing, marketing, and customer service responsibilities.
• Converts leads into leases through outreach, prospecting and lead generation.
• Processes applications and lease renewals.
• Provides tours highlighting community amenities and property features.
• Coordinates work orders with maintenance staff.
• Reports progress to Property Manager on set goals.
• Works with leasing team to ensure office coverage during business hours.
