Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Leasing Specialist to maximize occupancy at Golden Bamboo II properties in Houston, TX. Under the Community Manager, you will generate qualified traffic, conduct property tours, and coordinate move-ins while maintaining excellent customer service.

You will manage leases, perform market checks, and help promote resident retention through local outreach and on-site programs. A high school diploma and 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred; Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) accreditation preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or sales experience (or relevant education).
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct leasing activities at the property, respond to inquiries, give tours, and coordinate move-ins.
• Perform market surveys and competitor shop visits to optimize occupancy.
• Develop on-site marketing activity and referral programs to drive traffic and retention.
• Schedule renewals, track lease expirations, and ensure rent collection and filings are accurate.
• Maintain showroom and model units; ensure readiness and curb appeal for tours.
