Job summary

The Tipton Group is seeking an outgoing Leasing Agent for a 205-unit community in Arlington, TX. The role focuses on welcoming prospective residents, conducting tours, handling inquiries, and guiding applicants through the leasing process with a sales-minded, customer-first approach.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of leasing experience, proficiency with OneSite, and a proven ability to communicate clearly and follow up effectively to close leases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of apartment leasing experience.
• Working knowledge of OneSite property management software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Sales-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Professional, dependable, and team-focused.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced property management environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective and current residents in a friendly and professional manner
• Conduct apartment and community tours with prospective residents
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, online leads, and in person
• Follow up daily with prospective residents and assist them throughout the leasing process
• Build rapport with prospects and help convert leads into new residents
• Provide information regarding apartment availability, pricing, amenities, and community features
• Prepare leasing documents, applications, and other required paperwork
• Collect applicable deposits, fees, and payments
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident information in OneSite
• Assist with resident questions and provide excellent customer service
• Work with the property management team to support occupancy and resident retention goals
