Job summary

The Collier Companies is seeking a Leasing Specialist for an on-site position in Sarasota. You will be the first contact for prospects and residents, driving lease conversions and creating positive experiences in the home they choose to live in.

You will follow up on leads, demonstrate property benefits, and develop promotional programs to support occupancy goals. The role requires exceptional communication, multi-tasking, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years leasing and/or customer service experience in retail, hospitality, housing or multi-family environment.
• Strong sales drive with goal attainment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with various software, apps and computer programs.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
• Lease apartments by building relationships and showcasing community benefits.
• Close lease agreements via phone, email, and in person.
• Generate leads through proactive follow-up and outreach.
• Develop and implement promotional programs and events to drive occupancy.
• Renewals to sustain occupancy targets.
• Maintain accurate resident files.
• Weekends required as needed.
