Drucker + Falk, LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a Leasing Specialist to manage apartment showings, process applications, and maintain accurate resident files in compliance with company policy.

You will greet new residents, explain community rules, coordinate move-ins, support a resident retention program, and assist with leasing duties and resident relations. Some weekend hours and occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments at the highest effective rent level possible, while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude at all times.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously and help resolve resident issues.
• Explain company policies to residents and potential residents.
• Have a comprehensive working knowledge of all lease related documents and accurately complete them in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate resident files in accordance with company policy.
• Enter resident data in accordance with company policy.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a resident retention/renewal program to achieve optimum increases and conversion ratios.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in to ensure market ready status.
• Assist in leasing activities and resident relations.
• Be aware of rent levels and amenities of competitive communities.
• Be aware of all community and area facts and statistics.
• Assist in preparing competitive market survey reports.
• Greet new residents and assist with the move-in process.
• Show the model and available vacancies.
• Participate in coordination of community sponsored events.
• Become certified as a Leasing Specialist through in-house training.
• Travel may be required; reasonable or limited vehicle use may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasional weekend hours may be required.
