Job summary

Crawford Hoying in Columbus, OH is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lease apartment homes and maintain strong occupancy. You will greet prospects, present community features, and process guest cards and leases with accuracy.

Onsite role, hours Tue-Fri 9:00-5:30 and Sat 9:30-3:00, with weekend availability. The position offers hourly pay of $18-$19 plus commission and a suite of benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and dedication to meet/exceed expectations.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Working knowledge of property management software or ability to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to develop rapport with people.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, determine their needs, present available homes, and handle calls with professionalism.
• Process guest cards, applicant data, leases, and renewals; assist with verification and follow-up.
• Monitor accounts receivable and delinquencies; prepare reports and communications for the Community Manager.
• Support turnover activities and market surveys; maintain organization of leases and documents.
