Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Long Beach, CA to drive leasing, marketing, and resident relations at a property community. The role requires a professional, engaging presence with residents and staff, plus the ability to coordinate with management and vendors to ensure a positive resident experience.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in sales or customer relations, experience in affordable housing/tax credits is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects and maintain records.
• Represent the community and close leases with accurate applications.
• Update availability and process applications for approvals.
• Assist with renewals and contribute to resident retention.
• Type lease paperwork and input data in Yardi accurately.
• Maintain resident files and distribute notices.
• Support Community Manager and maintenance teams as needed.
• Contribute to events and maintain community standards.
