Job summary

Houston Apartment Foundation in Carrollton, TX is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. You will generate leases, conduct property tours, and provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

Ideal candidates have strong sales and communication skills, enjoy working with people, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, apartment, hospitality, sales, or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales-oriented and goal-driven.
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and property management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective and current residents.
• Respond to calls, emails, inquiries, and walk-ins.
• Conduct property tours and highlight features and amenities.
• Explain rental rates, lease terms, availability, and policies.
• Convert prospects into residents through effective sales and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident data in the PM system.
• Follow up with prospects via phone, email, and text.
• Process rental applications and assist with the leasing process.
• Maintain knowledge of the local rental market and competing properties.
• Assist with resident retention and customer-service initiatives.
• Participate in resident events, marketing activities, and outreach efforts.
• Meet or exceed leasing, occupancy, and customer-service goals.
