Job summary

The Everett, Roanoke, VA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage apartment leases with a focus on maximizing rent and delivering superior resident service. This role involves processing applications, maintaining files, and coordinating move-ins in a fast-paced environment.

You will interact with residents daily, explain policies, and stay informed about market rates and competitive properties. Travel and occasional weekend hours may be required, with opportunities for growth through in-house

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments at the highest effective rent level while maintaining customer service.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously.
• Explain company and community policies to residents.
• Maintain accurate resident files per company policy.
• Enter resident data in the system per policy.
• Assist in developing a resident retention/renewal program.
• Inspect apartments pre-move-in for market readiness.
• Assist leasing activities and resident relations.
• Be aware of rent levels and amenities of comparable communities.
• Assist in preparing market survey reports.
• Greet new residents and assist with move-in.
• Show the model and available vacancies.
• Coordinate community events.
• Become certified as Leasing Specialist through in-house training.
• Travel may be required.
• Perform other duties.
• Occasional weekend hours may be required.
