Job summary

Cornerstone Residential is seeking a Leasing Agent to welcome prospective residents, conduct property tours, and guide applicants through the rental process. You will process applications, secure leases with qualified applicants, and assist with renewals while adhering to Fair Housing laws and company policy.

This full-time, hourly position operates Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, with compensation of $19 per hour DOE and eligibility for commissions, plus a benefits package and potential career growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management software, email, internet, social media).

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective residents through viewing and leasing process.
• Process rental applications and secure leases.
• Maintain occupancy and promote resident retention.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies.
• Update online marketing sources daily and coordinate with marketing efforts.
• Maintain and organize resident files and required documents.
• Assist with maintenance reporting and follow-up as needed.
