Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. You will greet prospects, schedule tours, process applications, and prepare leases, with a focus on delivering a smooth move-in experience.

The role involves driving occupancy through marketing initiatives, referrals, and employer outreach, while using on-site software to track data and ensure show-unit quality.

Qualifications

• Greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours and showing apartments, processing applications and lease paperwork.
• Credit screening and criminal background checks are performed during leasing.
• Valid driver’s license is required to operate a golf cart on property.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications and preparing leases.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate items with maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to sustain occupancy and drive traffic to the community.
• Utilize on-site management software to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and secure renewals.
