Job summary

Real Estate Equities Group in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Leasing Specialist to manage apartment rentals and maintain strong occupancy at Ames Lake Neighborhood. You will conduct tours, process applications, and ensure compliance with affordable housing guidelines.

The role requires 1-3 years leasing or sales experience, familiarity with Yardi and Knock platforms, and a commitment to excellent resident service. On-site, full-time position with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years leasing or related sales experience preferred.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• Knock experience preferred.
• Previous affordable housing experience preferred (Section 8/42).
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and deadline-driven multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and screening criteria.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed occupancy targets by engaging prospects and scheduling tours.
• Manage leasing inquiries via email and follow up on leads.
• Process applications, background checks, and eligibility for affordable housing.
• Assist residents and applicants with leasing paperwork and renewals.
• Perform monthly pricing analysis of competitive properties.
• Provide exceptional resident service and address issues with staff.
• Attend trainings and participate in on-site team activities.
