Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a full-time in-person Leasing Associate in Olympia, WA. This role focuses on leasing, resident relations, and strong customer service to drive occupancy and retention at our communities.

You will handle leasing paperwork, show properties, maintain an engaging presence with residents, and contribute to marketing and administrative tasks while supporting a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year working in customer service.
• 1+ year prior sales or leasing experience.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn/navigate software systems.
• Prior experience in property management or similar industry is a plus.
• NALP Certification, or other NAAEI credential, is a plus.
• Yardi/CRM and OnSite experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leasing paperwork and compliance with local and federal laws; strong focus on sales and closing ratios.
• Trains and mentors leasing team and greets prospective residents.
• Maintains tour path, vacant units, and model units with maintenance team.
• Perpetuates a true sense of community and maintains positive resident relations.
• Inspects move-outs and vacancies; manages move-ins/move-outs.
• Maintains ads on Craigslist, Weblisters and other listing services.
• Answers phone calls and emails; updates required reports daily; organizes files.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by Leasing Manager or Regional Manager.
