Job summary

Waterton is seeking a Leasing Specialist in Arlington, VA to sell and renew residential leases, tour the community, and follow up with prospective residents. You will close sales, deliver exceptional service, and foster a true sense of community.

Responsibilities include tours, applications, lease packages, and maintaining readiness of the leasing office and models, while staying informed about local market conditions to support marketing plans and advertising efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of sales or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate interest in the community by answering questions, conducting tours, following up with prospective residents, and using sales closing techniques.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents and engage them through programs and events.
• Ensure leasing office, models, vacant units and common areas meet readiness standards.
• Process rental applications for approval and prepare lease packages with proper documentation and protection of resident data.
• Maintain knowledge of local market and assist in marketing plans to increase visibility of the community.
