Job summary

Greystar in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Leasing Associate for The Colwick, a mid-rise, lease-up community with 234 units. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, prepare lease documents, and ensure smooth move-ins.

You will monitor market conditions, design marketing plans, use OneSite/Yardi, follow policies on concessions, and drive occupancy through renewals and referrals.

Qualifications

• Prior leasing/sales experience required for property communities.
• Ability to greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and process applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening, and move-in documentation.
• Inspects apartments for move-in readiness and coordinates needed maintenance.
• Develops marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follows policies on concessions and programs to boost occupancy.
• Creates marketing traffic through referrals, employer outreach, online tools, and community-specific plans.
• Uses on-site management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability and data; maintains show units.
• Ensures show units meet company standards and coordinates maintenance and upkeep.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to secure leases/renewals and maintains resident satisfaction.
• Supports renewal program with letters, packages, and timely signing of documents.
• Responds promptly to questions/concerns and communicates requests to the appropriate teams.
