Job summary

The Henley is seeking a Leasing Specialist for Sweetgrass Landing Apartments in Mount Pleasant, SC. You will drive tours, manage leads, and deliver exceptional service to residents across our communities.

Applicants should have leasing experience, social media marketing know-how, and strong organizational skills. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required, with work including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Leasing experience required, including social media marketing and planning resident events.
• Local market knowledge preferred.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales focused. Lead management to convert leads to tours and tours to residents.
• Create and conduct events for residents on a regular basis.
• Deliver great customer service to residents.
• Follow up with prospects; consistent follow-ups are valuable in sales.
• Understand our product and articulate its value in the market.
• Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Understand the needs of prospects and residents to determine best solutions.
• Willingness to work 3–4 Saturdays per month (40 hours weekly).
• Basic computer skills with property management tools – Yardi a plus.

Position: Leasing Specialist for Sweetgrass Landing Apartments - Mount Pleasant, SC

Role Overview

As a Leasing Specialist for The Henley, you will work at a fast pace to lease apartment homes and deliver exceptional customer service for this community with 315 units.

Competitive hourly rate + monthly commission + quarterly bonus + 20% monthly rent discount at any of our suitable communities (if desired) + health/dental/vision/401K with generous match + paid training.

• Sales focused. Strong lead management to be able to convert leads to tours and tours to residents.
• Create and conduct fun events for the residents on a regular basis.
• Deliver great customer service to your current residents.
• Follow up with prospects. Consistent follow-ups are one of the most valuable acts for anyone in a sales role.
• Product and market knowledge. Understand our product and be able to articulate its value in the market.
• Collaborate with your team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Understand the unique needs of prospects and residents to determine the best solutions.
• Previous Leasing experience required, including social media marketing and planning resident events. Local market knowledge preferred.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills.
• Must be willing to work 3-4 Saturdays month (still enjoy 40 hours per week).
• Basic computer skills, including property management tools – Yardi a plus!
• Vehicle, driver’s license.
