Job summary

The Henley is seeking a Leasing Specialist for its Mount Pleasant, SC community. You will lease apartment homes, manage leads, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents across 315 units.

Expect an hourly wage with commissions and bonuses, plus a 20% monthly rent discount at suitable communities and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K with match. Paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Leasing experience required, including social media marketing and planning resident events.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities.
• Willingness to work 3-4 Saturdays per month while maintaining a 40-hour week.
• Local market knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads to tours and tours to residents with sales focus.
• Create and conduct resident events on a regular basis.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to current residents.
• Follow up with prospects; maintain consistent outreach.
• Understand product value and articulate it to prospects.

Position: Leasing Specialist for Sweetgrass Landing Apartments - Mount Pleasant, SC

Role Overview

As a Leasing Specialist for The Henley, you will work at a fast pace to lease apartment homes and deliver exceptional customer service for this community with 315 units.

Competitive hourly rate + monthly commission + quarterly bonus + 20% monthly rent discount at any of our suitable communities (if desired) + health/dental/vision/401K with generous match + paid training.

• Sales focused. Strong lead management to be able to convert leads to tours and tours to residents.
• Create and conduct fun events for the residents on a regular basis.
• Deliver great customer service to your current residents.
• Follow up with prospects. Consistent follow-ups are one of the most valuable acts for anyone in a sales role.
• Product and market knowledge. Understand our product and be able to articulate its value in the market.
• Collaborate with your team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Understand the unique needs of prospects and residents to determine the best solutions.
• Previous Leasing experience required, including social media marketing and planning resident events. Local market knowledge preferred.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills.
• Must be willing to work 3-4 Saturdays month (still enjoy 40 hours per week).
• Basic computer skills, including property management tools – Yardi a plus!
• Vehicle, driver’s license.
