Continental Realty is seeking a Leasing Specialist for Central Island Square in Charleston, SC. You will lease apartment homes at a fast pace, delivering exceptional customer service to a 313-unit community.

Compensation includes an hourly rate, monthly commission, quarterly bonus, rent discount options, and comprehensive health/dental/vision/401K plans with a generous match. Paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• Sales oriented with strong lead management to convert leads to tours and residents.
• Excellent customer service and ability to manage follow-ups with prospects.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills; ability to work with property tools.

Responsibilities

• Sell and lease apartment homes, converting leads to tours and residents.
• Create and conduct resident events to engage the community.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to current residents.
• Follow up with prospects; maintain consistent outreach.
• Know the product and articulate its value in the market.
• Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Assess prospect and resident needs to determine optimal solutions.
• Leasing experience preferred, including social media marketing and event planning.
• Knowledge of local market; leverage to optimize occupancy.
• Maintain strong administrative organization and records.
• Exhibit conflict management and de-escalation when needed.
• Be prepared to work 2-3 Saturdays per month while maintaining 40-hour weeks.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with property management tools (Yardi a plus).
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license.

Position: Leasing Specialist for Central Island Square - Daniel Island, SC

Role Overview

As a Leasing Specialist for Central Island Square, you will work at a fast pace to lease apartment homes and deliver exceptional customer service for this community with 313 units.

Competitive hourly rate + monthly commission + quarterly bonus + 20% monthly rent discount at any of our suitable communities (if desired) + health/dental/vision/401K with generous match + paid training.

• Sales focused. Strong lead management to be able to convert leads to tours and tours to residents.
• Create and conduct fun events for the residents on a regular basis.
• Deliver great customer service to your current residents.
• Follow up with prospects. Consistent follow-ups are one of the most valuable acts for anyone in a sales role.
• Product and market knowledge. Understand our product and be able to articulate its value in the market.
• Collaborate with your team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Understand the unique needs of prospects and residents to determine the best solutions.
• Previous Leasing experience preferred, including social media marketing and planning resident events.
• Local market knowledge helpful.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation skills.
• Must be willing to work 2-3 Saturdays month (still enjoy 40 hours per week).
• Basic computer skills, including property management tools - Yardi a plus!
