Position Summary

As a Leasing Agent, you will be on the front lines of our leasing efforts—driving customer engagement, converting prospects into residents, and helping maintain high occupancy across our portfolio. This role combines consultative sales, hands-on outreach, and superior customer service to showcase Chosan’s unique offerings and deliver an exceptional touring experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue and qualify leads through door-to-door canvassing, community events, online inquiries, and broker referrals.
  • Conduct engaging, personalized property tours—both in-person and virtually—tailored to each prospect’s needs.
  • Follow up promptly on all leads and maintain consistent outreach to generate repeat and referral business.

Customer Experience:

  • Build rapport with prospective and existing tenants, listen to their needs, and present leasing solutions that align with their lifestyle.
  • Facilitate seamless move-in processes, coordinating with operations to ensure each new resident enjoys a smooth transition.

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and process lease applications, background checks, and move-in documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in our CRM/property management system (e.g., AppFolio, Yardi, HubSpot).
  • Stay informed on local market trends, competitive offerings, and pricing strategies; share insights to help refine Chosan’s leasing approach.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on campaign performance and collateral effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the Leasing Manager to meet team occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Attend regular sales meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, or related field a plus.
  • 1–3 years of leasing, sales, or customer-facing experience, ideally in property management or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural sales aptitude.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable with door-knocking and community outreach.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with CRM/property management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to meet prospects’ schedules.
