Job Description

As a Leasing Specialist, you are the first step in creating a sense of community for current and prospective residents. You are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and using your sales skills to convert property tours to leases.

This role serves as the first line of defense for the property manager. It reports to the property manager and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and maintain organized filing systems
• Sell and lease apartment inventory
• Greet prospective residents and work with current residents to resolve concerns and submit service requests
• Oversee and ensure the accurate completion of application and lease paperwork
• Adhere to marketing campaigns as needed
• Assist the Property Manager in ensuring compliance with all resident files
• Assist with community events and resident retention

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the Multifamily Industry
• Knowledge of property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, BlueMoon, or similar
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Ability to work weekends
• Maintain a friendly, customer service-oriented approach towards co-workers and customers

Compensation

$18 - $20 hourly
