Job summary

Royal American Companies in Miami Gardens, FL is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to assist in advertising, promoting resident services, and leasing properties. Under supervision of Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager, you will help develop marketing and lease strategies and build relationships with prospective and current residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Proficiency in One Site preferred.
• Minimum one year property management experience preferred.
• Experience in affordable housing, Tax Credit, HUD and/or Rural Development preferred.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create positive, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
• Assist in development and implementation of resident services programming.
• Enter and track service requests using maintenance software.
• Assist in screening and selecting prospective residents in line with policies.
• Prepare market surveys and traffic reports.
• Lease renewal processing and documentation.
• Coordinate move-in/move-out processes and rent collections.
• Respond to inquiries from callers and corporate office.
• Conduct tours and maintain curb appeal.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
