Job summary

American Property Management is seeking a customer-focused leasing/support associate for The Palms at Morada. The role requires on-site presence near the property, near- term availability, and travel between locations.

Compensation includes a structured hourly wage with benefits and bonuses, plus 401(k) with company match. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in customer service and some multifamily experience, plus English proficiency and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in customer service.
• 1+ years’ experience in the multifamily/student housing industry within the last 10 years preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws and ADA laws preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight the qualities and selling points of the property/units.
• Handle customer and tenant relations and ensure all issues are being addressed promptly and with a high level of customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of the current area market.
• Prepare and maintain reports for managers.
• Host community events and ensure they are complying with American Property Management’s Quality Standards.
• Assist residents from beginning to end of the rental process.
