Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Resident Specialist to provide exceptional customer service, show and lease apartments, and support on-site operations at our New Jersey property. This role requires five days in the office and prior experience with LIHTC/Section 8 is a plus.

You will handle applications, pre-qualifications, rent processing, and coordination with maintenance and management to maintain high occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in Property/Hotel/Retail or Sales.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Yardi software knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Show apartments and conduct in-person tours.
• Process applications and pre-qualify prospects.
• Manage rental payments and deposits.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and lease renewals.
• Maintain resident ledgers and issue notices as needed.
