Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Resident Specialist in Chicago to provide superior customer service to residents, guests, and staff at the property.

You will show apartments, assist with moves, and provide administrative support to the Community and/or Services Maintenance Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining strong resident relations. Qualifications include 1+ year of customer service in property/hospitality/retail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in Property/Hotel/Retail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Yardi experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly with high levels of customer service.
• Schedule appointments and conduct in-person visits.
• Greet prospective tenants and show the property.
• Process applications and pre-qualify prospects.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on completion.
• Maintain rental payments and renewals in tracking system.
• Prepare recertifications and lease renewals.
