Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking a Resident Specialist to provide superior customer service to residents, guests, and team members at the property site.

You will show and lease apartments, assist in moving, and support administrative tasks for the Community/Services Maintenance Manager to keep the property compliant and well-managed. Candidates with Section 8 housing and LIHTC knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills in English.
• Typing speed of at least 35 wpm.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office systems.
• Experience with property/housing software such as Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly with high levels of service.
• Schedule appointments and conduct in-person visits as needed.
• Listen to resident requests and refer as appropriate.
• Build relationships with residents to understand needs.
