Job summary

Chapman Management Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager & Leasing Consultant in Washington, DC. This on-site role supports daily property operations, drives occupancy, and enhances resident satisfaction within a busy community.

You will work with the Property Manager and Regional PM to handle leasing, rent collections, and administrative tasks, while ensuring compliance with program requirements and community policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property management or leasing preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills essential.
• Familiarity with HUD/LIHTC? affordable housing knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage prospective resident leads and inquiries.
• Schedule property tours and conduct tours for available units.
• Process applications and coordinate approval steps with applicants.
• Maintain accurate leasing and resident records.
• Collect rent and assist with delinquency processes as needed.
• Support compliance with housing program requirements.
