Middleburg Communities is hiring a Leasing Manager to oversee apartment leasing operations, drive occupancy, and support the property team. The role emphasizes rent collection, financial oversight, and resident relations, while leading leasing staff and ensuring compliance with housing laws.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with leasing experience, or a 4-year degree with related experience, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years leasing/property management experience or a 4-year degree with 1-year leasing/property management experience.
• 2 years of related experience in sales, customer service, or marketing.
• Proficient computer skills including Office365, Outlook, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates, and other legal issues affecting property management.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment including printers, telephones, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of personal computers, Internet applications, and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of apartment leasing operations and ensure excellent customer service.
• Manage OneSite input, rent collection, delinquencies, banking with daily deposits, and collection documents.
• Assist in meeting revenue goals through occupancy, ancillary income, and market incentives; monitor financial performance against budget.
• Prepare OneSite reporting documentation (A/R, A/P, monthly variance).
• Maintain payroll reporting, including e-time editing and bonus preparation.
• Lease apartments, respond to inquiries, qualify applicants, show units, and prepare move-in paperwork; manage renewals.
