Job summary

Bruziv Partners is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for The 401 Lofts in Akron, OH. The role supports the Property Manager in leasing, tenant relations, maintenance coordination, and day-to-day operations using AppFolio.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and customer service skills, with experience in multifamily properties and a sales-minded approach to convert leads into tenants. Benefits include 401(k), bonuses, and health/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of directly relevant Multifamily Property Management experience preferred.
• Preferred but not required – Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on leads and schedule tours to minimize vacancies.
• Prepare and submit purchase orders for management approval.
• Process rent deposits and online payments promptly.
• Submit and schedule vendor payments and record transactions in AppFolio.
• Provide excellent tenant service and resolve requests promptly.
• Ensure emergency coverage for the property at all times.
• Assist with periodic inspections for leases and upkeep.
• Maintain lease files and property records per policy.
• Administer tenant occupancy materials and onboarding.
• Become proficient with AppFolio and reporting.
• Maintain pricing and availability on social media and ads.
• Assist renewals to meet retention goals.
• Contribute to converting prospects into residents.
• Ensure resident satisfaction through professional interactions.
• Assist in implementing management plans and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, landscaping, snow removal.
• Communicate issues to the Property Manager promptly.
