Job summary

Elliron Residential is seeking a Leasing Professional to serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents and to drive successful leasing through move-in. You will showcase our community, explain terms, and ensure a positive resident experience with a strong focus on service and compliance.

The role requires experience in leasing or property management, knowledge of LIHTC and Fair Housing rules, and familiarity with Yardi or OneSite.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing or property management preferred; student housing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing regulations required.
• Experience with Yardi or OneSite property management systems preferred.
• Strong customer service, sales, negotiation, and phone communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, including filing and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and present amenities and lease terms clearly.
• Manage the leasing process from application submission through lease execution.
• Ensure leasing activities comply with Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC, and Section 8 guidelines.
• Enter data and process applications using Yardi or OneSite; maintain resident records.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with facilities teams to support a well-maintained community.
• Address resident concerns professionally and assist with conflict resolution.
• Maintain organized leasing files, reports, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Elliron Residential is seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Professional to join our property management team. In this energetic, customer-facing role, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents and play a key role in showcasing our community. Your enthusiasm, professionalism, and customer service skills will help drive leasing success while ensuring a positive resident experience from initial inquiry through move-in. Experience in student housing is preferred, as our communities thrive on an understanding of the unique needs and expectations of student residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents with professionalism and enthusiasm; conduct property tours and provide detailed information on amenities, lease terms, and community features
• Manage the leasing process from application submission through lease execution
• Ensure all leasing activities comply with Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC requirements, and Section 8 guidelines
• Utilize Yardi or OneSite property management software to accurately enter data, process applications, and maintain resident records
• Perform legal and administrative leasing tasks, including reviewing lease agreements, managing renewals, and handling resident correspondence in accordance with landlord-tenant laws
• Promote available units using ethical sales techniques while maintaining strict adherence to fair housing standards
• Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with facilities and maintenance teams to support a well-maintained community
• Address resident concerns professionally and assist with conflict resolution to maintain strong resident relationships
• Maintain organized leasing files, reports, and documentation in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in leasing, property management, or real estate administration preferred; student housing experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing regulations required
• Experience with Yardi or OneSite property management systems preferred
• Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, lease agreements, and leasing compliance requirements
• Excellent customer service, sales, negotiation, and phone communication skills
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, including filing and data entry
• Ability to manage conflict professionally while maintaining a resident-focused approach
• Experience coordinating with maintenance or facilities teams is a plus
