Job summary

Southern Management Co. is seeking energetic Leasing Professionals to act as brand ambassadors for our communities. You will manage the leasing process from first contact through move-in, build relationships with prospects, and meet or exceed traffic, applications, and conversions.

Ideal candidates have proven sales experience, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and build positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendors
• Manage the leasing process from first point of contact to move-in
• Execute follow-up plan for prospects who do not rent on first visit
• Meet or exceed traffic, application, move-in, wait list, and conversion ratio goals
• Complete all leasing paperwork and processes per internal quality control processes
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality
• Conduct new resident move-in orientations
• Contribute to community/company engagement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

Job description

Proven sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals and sales targets. Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and online marketing platforms. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, must be available to work weekends, and have reliable transportation for outreach. Bilingual Spanish a plus.

What's required from you:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality
• Experience with Yardi products a plus

Pay Rate:

$17.50 - $25.38
