Southern Management Companies is seeking a high-energy Leasing Professional in Baltimore, MD to maximize occupancy and enhance the resident experience. You will drive prospect traffic, convert leads into leases, and build community partnerships through outreach while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will manage the leasing process from first contact to move-in, conduct new resident orientations, and ensure quality through inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Yardi a plus.

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Leasing Professional to maximize occupancy and enhance the resident experience. In this dynamic role, you will drive prospect traffic, convert leads into leases, build community partnerships through creative outreach, and deliver exceptional customer service to residents and future residents alike.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

• Encourage and build positive relationships with all team members, customers, and vendors
• Manage the leasing process from first point of contact to move-in
• Execute follow-up plan for future residents who do not rent on first visit
• Meet or exceed traffic, application, move-in, wait list, and conversion ratio goals
• Complete all leasing paperwork and processes per internal quality control processes
• Inspect apartments and the community to ensure product quality
• Conduct new resident move-in orientations
• Contribute to community/company engagement efforts
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor

JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Sales aptitude with attention to detail
• Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational capabilities
• Competence with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficiency utilizing the internet for marketing, advertising, and sales-related purposes
• Ability to demonstrate behaviors which cultivate a positive professional culture

What's required from you:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality
• Experience with Yardi products a plus

Pay Rate:

$17.50 - $25.38
