Job summary

Allied Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to engage prospective residents, showcase apartments, and guide applicants through the leasing process across multiple properties. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional experience by identifying needs, presenting amenities, and guiding smooth move-ins.

Travel to assigned communities and proactive marketing support are essential to meet occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; leasing or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (Yardi).
• Basic math skills to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• On-site work including walking varied terrain, stairs, and inspecting units in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned communities to provide leasing coverage as needed.
• Greet prospective residents, assess housing needs, and qualify applicants.
• Conduct property tours highlighting features, layouts, and amenities.
• Provide information about local schools, shopping, recreation, and transportation.
• Prepare and process lease agreements, collect deposits, and ensure documentation is complete.
• Monitor property conditions and coordinate necessary repairs.
• Maintain updated listings and create engaging advertisements for vacancies.
• Participate in team meetings and training for development.
